Nigel was one of the kindest, most warm-hearted and generous people I know. He was always prepared to listen, advise and help if he could. He was calm, not easily ruffled, gave his time freely, and lived life to the full. Over the nearly 50 years I've know him, I'd count him as one of my very best friends. I have such good memories of university sailing with him in Sheffield, having family holidays with his family in Croatia, and sharing numerous new year's eve celebrations with him in Beaconsfield. The girls and I have been so saddened that his life has been suddenly and tragically cut short, we shall all miss him. With love to his dear family from us all, Helen, Jess and Jodie.
